You know those “Low Clearance” signs posted on roadway bridges? Those are mighty helpful to us, because we haul some big loads—and we mean big. We at Lindamood have been known to transport 20-foot-wide, 17-foot-tall buildings across multiple states, with state trooper escorts leading the way. Wind-energy towers? Cranes? We do those too. And for the particularly large jobs—we’re talking up to 350,000 pounds here—we can break out the Goldhofer platform-style trailer with 24 lines of axles. So go ahead and bring us your biggest, baddest heavy haul challenge. We’re up for it.
Perimeter Movers / Mega Movers
Flatbed
If you need something heavy loaded up and moved, Lindamood can make that happen. We specialize in over-the-road flatbed hauling throughout the 48 contiguous states, so no matter which side of the country you’re on, we can move it from sea to shining sea. Using our collection of step deck trailers rated for up to 48,000 pounds, we’ll move your excavator parts, vehicles, or buildings (yes, buildings) to Point B for you, and we’ll do it safely and on time. We like to haul everything, so let us know what we can move for you!
University of Texas Medical Branch
Lindamood was onsite at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) campus in Galveston, Texas. The Lindamood crew demolished six UTMB structures, including a six-story building located 11 feet from a functioning hospital. The building was carefully imploded without disturbing sensitive medical activities at the hospital.
Equipment Movers
We have trucks, and we’re not afraid to use them. We move some of the biggest pieces of construction equipment out there without breaking a sweat. Whether you’ve got a set of bulldozers, excavators, or landfill compactors, we’ll make transporting them look easy, because we love our work. Lindamood has the equipment to match your relocation needs, and we’re able to haul up to 170,000 pounds of the payload of your choice. The bigger, the better, because we like a challenge.
Park District Top-Down
Lindamood provided earthwork and excavation services for the Park District project on North Pearl Street by utilizing what is known as top-down deconstruction. This unique method allows vertical construction to begin at the ground level and up while excavation continues below, accelerating the project schedule by removing excavation as a separate phase. The $200-million project included four levels of underground parking. Lindamood successfully dug nearly 50 feet below the surface during constructon of the skyscraper, encountering and passing hard limestone at approximately 20 feet. By using the top-down method, Lindamood removed all material below the building in one month, completing the entire below-grade project in six months.
